Our Work (— and other fabulous news)
Tracy Reese
tracyreese.comFeminine Luxe and Modern Bohemian Coalesce in Website Overhaul
Just like creating the perfect dress, OneRockwell was given the opportunity to design a captivating, multi-dimensional website that thoroughly defines the Tracy Reese aesthetic.
Our mission was to design a website which was both functional - in keeping up with the seasonal deliveries, and stylish - to capture the ever changing silhouettes and color ways. Between dynamic pattern bars, shoppable inspiration boards, and various outlets for promotional language, One Rockwell has provided Tracy Reese with an array of marketing tools that capture brand awareness.
We were also to present a unified site while expressing the identity of both lines, Tracy Reese and Plenty by Tracy Reese. With an intuitive design that enables both collections to coexist on one site, we have united the playful bohemian nature of Plenty by Tracy Reese with the contemporary, sophistication of Tracy Reese.
Tracy’s World is a section of the site that we've particularly enjoyed creating. It is a backstage pass inside the world of Tracy Reese, from her travels and inspirations to memorable career highlights. Visitors are invited to join the team backstage during Fashion week, experience the company's excitement during the Michelle Obama inauguration of her Tracy Reese dress, and are even given a sneak peek of what's to come.
James Perse
jamesperse.co.ukGlobal Expansion of eCommerce Site
Cult favorite James Perse approached One Rockwell to develop eCommerce sites for its Global Partners in Europe and Canada. Mirroring the design, functionality and user experience of the current US site, which runs on the ATG platform, One Rockwell re-created the shopping experience within Magento Enterprise, while introducing several enhancements, streamlining unnecessary complexities and optimizing the user experience.
Each Global Partner integrates independently with its own inventory and pricing back-end, fulfillment, payment gateway, taxes and shipping systems, according to their geographical location; One Rockwell developed a sophisticated custom extension that enables these extraordinary features. The result is a true multi-lingual, multi-currency site that can be managed from a centralized location while providing each partner with control over its own product bookings, ordering and customer management.
Since all product data is sourced through the ATG installation, which is dated and has extremely limited capabilities, an intricate workflow was developed by One Rockwell to process and validate the feeds, format them for translation, and serve them to the different partners' systems seamlessly twice a month.
Customer segmentation across the globe presented another challenge to the business. One Rockwell developed an email list integration that allows customers to sign up for emails according to gender, territory and language preferences, among other variables. One Rockwell managed the translation process as well as provided strategic expertise to the Client in various areas of the project, including geo-location, SEO, UX and technology.
Phased launches for the global sites — including UK, Europe, and Canada, are scheduled for April and May 2013. This execution allows for the direct alliance of loyal James Perse customers around the world, while preserving the unique brand philosophy of effortless sophistication. Scheduled for the fall are the Japanese launch and ultimately, the migration of the entire US site to the Magento Enterprise platform.
Consistency, technical creativity and cutting-edge development techniques are some of the key elements that helped drive this initiative. These advancements help position James Perse as one of the leading online destinations for casual luxury products worldwide.

Chadwick Bell
chadwickbell.comSimple Elegance Defines Couture Label's Online Aesthetic
Duality has always been a constant theme for the budding SoCal-born, NYC-based designer Chadwick Bell. Leveraging the dichotomy that defines Bell's work and his commitment to simple elegance, One Rockwell conceptualized and re-created a new website to showcase the designer's collections through a streamlined, user-friendly platform.
The original site, our team noticed, had been built out of sliced images that didn't contain any copy making it difficult to both manage and maintain and provided zero recognition among search engines.
Our team re-created the entire site, added copy and made it indexable. A better press module was implemented and images were presented in a larger format for better experience. The new site was made easier to manage and update allowing for new collections to be posted online immediately after being introduced. Video streaming capabilities were improved and all of this was done without sacrificing the simplicity and elegance of the brand.
