One Rockwell launched his first collections, Marc Fisher and Marc Fisher LTD, into the online realm with an eCommerce site that combines clean design with seamless architecture, reflecting the timeless elegance of the shoes themselves.

The Intake

The goal was to embody a modern take on everyday footwear Marc Fisher has branded “the new casual-luxe.” It was crucial that the spirit of the eCommerce site correspond to the core brand values: clean, effortless, understated.

The Task

One Rockwell was contracted to collaborate with third party design house, Plenty NYC, to provide an online retail solution with a best-practice user experience, responsive to desktop and mobile devices. The project would be heavily driven by behind-the-scenes technology, including ERP integration, automated product insertion, synchronized inventory management, and automated order/shipment transmission.

The Execution

With the design portion in another company’s hands, One Rockwell focused efforts on making marcfisherfootwear.com a highly functional shopping space and powerful business tool. We provided front and back-end development on a robust yet flexible enterprise-grade Magento platform, setting up processes that would make operating and maintaining the site smooth and efficient. Integrating with required third-party services, we managed a collaborative effort from end to end, always keeping the goals of the Marc Fisher team at the center of all solutions and decisions.
