When longtime Coach executive Reed Krakoff spun off to form his own namesake line, fans of his classic American design aesthetic cheered. The young brand’s eComm needs demanded something simple and effective for the present and scalable for the future. One Rockwell hit every mark and delivered an award-winning site - “Best Site Design” at the Magento Imagine conference in April 2015.

To nurture his new brand’s future promise online, Reed Krakoff required an enterprise solution that would scale without offering too much heavy machinery at the outset. With sales as its number one priority, the company also wanted to drive traffic and leverage SEO and marketing efforts, all while increasing brand recognition and conversion.
The challenge was to create a thoughtful and affordable eComm solution for Reed Krakoff’s current business needs, with built-in flexibility as omnichannel opportunities entered the picture. Moreover, the new site had to launch without disrupting the brand’s existing online presence. We made smart decisions up front about site architecture and data structure, then handled the migration seamlessly. A WordPress integration makes the brand’s aggressive content refresh schedule simple for internal management. A modular homepage appeased marketing, merchant and creative teams with promotional language, direct product, careful editorial content placement and brand-guideline design. Meanwhile, integration with Dynamic AX via i95 anticipates an omnichannel evolution.
An online success story across multiple factors – analytics, design, user experience, and development. With the new site, all top line stats have improved: bounce rate has been cut in half and sessions, pages/session, conversion rate, average order value, page views, and average time on site are up significantly. The front-end modular approach focused on inspired design and imagery enables a maintenance process that makes site updates intuitive and lends clean structure to future development. A seamless blend of content and commerce is applied throughout the site and breaks out of traditional promotion confines.
