Established from a skilled collective of artisans responsible for the leathergoods of world-renown brands, Welden draws from its rich history and time-honored craftsmanship to launch its first line of hand woven accessories. We partnered with the innovative handbag company to create a bespoke eCommerce portal that artfully integrates a classically designed shopping experience with powerful back-end business tools.
Awwwards Honorable Mention, August 2015
Welden requested a beautifully branded editorial eCommerce platform that would reflect the meticulous elegance of its handbags, with a special focus on education about its unique focus on creativity and craftsmanship. Much like the products themselves, the site would need to exhibit seamless execution.
Building a brand from the ground up is exhilarating work. Our mission was to craft a site that would introduce Welden as a distinctive luxury line, while deploying a structure that would ensure its success in the marketplace, immediately and over the long run.
Welden’s digital debut is a stunning digital victory that brings its products and philosophies to life online. Back-end maintenance affords in-house staff the same ease and excellence of the front-end experience, positioning the young brand for lasting success.

Code Review | Tong Xie – One Rockwell Development
No developer should ever work in a vacuum. Is the code well commented? Is the logic easily deciphered? Can it be re-packaged? Did you improve the standard responsive Sass framework for the team? Did you meet the business objectives? You can develop your entire team in one go – as mentors, as programmers, as reviewers and critical thinkers. The feedback loop is an essential part of the process that concludes one project and jumpstarts the next.
